Event Set Up Crew Member Application
(**PLEASE note: this is not an event décor position! We offer event design and specialize in setting up dance floors, cool structures, and a myriad of different lighting services.)
Sound Wave Events is a premiere wedding vendor offering DJ / Photo Booth / Lighting / Dance Floor services to Boise and the Treasure Valley, McCall, Sun Valley, and beyond. Now for the best part: We are looking for stellar Event Set Up Assistants to help - you guessed it - set up lighting, dance floors, draping, and various other services at weddings and events in the Boise Area (with occasional work in McCall & Sun Valley). You will be an integral part of the team that makes sure our clients' design visions come to life! This position is primarily manual-labor based; you will be responsible to lift dance floor panels, baseplates, and truss; scale ladders; hang lights; etc., on the regular. Most shifts are on Fridays and Saturdays, with the occasional Sunday and include both set up and tear down.

Our ideal candidate will:
- Be 18+ years old
- Be hardworking, honest, responsible
- Be available a minimum of 2 weekends a month
- Enjoy some late night shifts!
- Hold a valid driver's license + possess a crisp, clean driving record
- Lift regularly - ok not really, but! at least be able to lift 75 lbs with ease
- Be detail-oriented
- Be eager to learn - no experience is needed; we’ll getcha trained on everything
- Have a solid appreciation for good puns
