Here at Sound Wave, we pride ourselves on understanding each of our couples' dreams for their wedding. If any of your dreams include these songs on this list, then please call our client manager Carley at 208-891-0094 and she will help you reevaluate your life goals. 😂

 5. Single Ladies: Beyonce - For the Bouquet Toss

Don't get me wrong - I love the Queen Bee 🐝 just as much as every human on the planet - because she is perfection and can do no wrong. BUT there are so many other better options to play from. Playing this for a bouquet toss is just lazy on your DJ's part and will get eye rolls from all of the single ladies.

4. Thinking Out Loud: Ed Sheeran - For the First Dance

Okay - here is the deal. I understand this may be controversial, but hear me out. A first dance song should be personal and unique to each couple. We all have a song that reminds us of the love we share with that special person in our life - if that song happens to be Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran, then that is 100% okay. But if it's chosen because that HAS TO BE the first dance song, then I OBJECT.

3. Happy: Pharrell Williams - Just in general

I would say if you are about 3' 4" tall and working under the direction of a man named Gru, then I totally understand playing Happy by Pharrell Williams. In most other cases, just don't.

2. YMCA - During a dance party

Some people like to go all out and dress like The Village People. To those humans, I salute you and say carry on and show us your choreographed spelling of Y M C A. Every one else should go to the DJ and politely say, "no thanks."

1. Chicken Dance - ever

It's just not a good idea.
Hope this helps you chuckle a little as you head into your weekend! Much love to all music, and hopefully we didn't ruffle too many feathers. (:
